THE SHORT VERSION
Play fair, be kind with your pilot name, and enjoy the game. Purchases are handled by Apple. Coins and items you earn in the game are for fun, not money. The details are below.
ABOUT THESE TERMS
These terms apply to the Tiny Pursuit game and the tinypursuit.com website. Tiny Pursuit is designed and developed by Daniel Bramhall ("we", "us", "our").
The game is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add to that agreement with rules specific to Tiny Pursuit. By downloading or playing the game, or using this website, you agree to both.
YOUR LICENCE TO PLAY
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to play Tiny Pursuit on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the game or its content, except where the law allows you to.
PILOT ACCOUNTS
- Creating a pilot account is optional. If you create one, please give a real email address you control and keep your password private.
- You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
- You can delete your account at any time. See Delete your account.
PILOT NAMES AND FAIR PLAY
Your pilot name is visible to other players, so please choose one that isn't offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading or someone else's identity. When playing, you agree not to:
- Cheat, use exploits, bots or modified versions of the game, or tamper with scores, recorded runs or saved data
- Interfere with the game's servers, or other players' enjoyment of the game
- Use the game for anything unlawful
If we believe these rules have been broken, we may rename a pilot, remove scores or recorded runs, reset progress, or suspend or close an account. Where reasonable, we'll explain why.
PURCHASES
- Tiny Pursuit is free to download. The full game is unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase, shown in your local currency on the App Store.
- All payments are processed by Apple under the App Store's terms. We never see your payment details.
- Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Your purchase is linked to your Apple Account and can be restored on your devices using Restore Purchases in the game.
COINS AND IN-GAME ITEMS
Coins, crates, skins, trails, crash effects and other items you earn in the game have no real-world value. They can't be exchanged for money or transferred to another player, and they're licensed to you rather than owned. We may rebalance prices, rewards and items as the game evolves.
ONLINE FEATURES AND UPDATES
Cloud saves, leaderboards, Battle and daily challenges rely on online services. We work hard to keep them running, but they may occasionally be unavailable, and we may change, improve or retire features over time. We'll release updates to fix problems and add new things; some features may need the latest version of the game.
OUR CONTENT
Tiny Pursuit, its name, logo, artwork, music, levels and code belong to us or our licensors. You're welcome to share screenshots, clips and videos of your own gameplay, including on social media and streaming platforms.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU
We provide Tiny Pursuit with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the game and website are provided "as is", and we aren't responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, or for problems caused by things outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, or limits our liability for anything that can't be limited by law, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms as Tiny Pursuit grows. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and let you know in the game or by email if the changes are significant. If you keep playing after a change, the updated terms apply.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections given to you by the laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
